Die Banden bei 32000 und 37000 cm-l wurden von Rei-~helss.8~) als Teilchromophoren-Absorption des Dimethylanilins gedeutet. In ubereinstimmung mit FBrsters Deutung der Banden bei substituierten Benzolen (vgl. Kap. 2.2) ergibt sich hier der erste Ubergang als negativ, also senkrecht, und der zweite als positiv polarisiert, also parallel zur Verbindungsrichtung N-N.Vom Acridin-Kation und dern 9-(p-Dimethylamino-pheny1)-acridin sind ferner die Fluoreszenzpolarisations-Spektren eingezeichnet. Diese zeigen einen ungefahr spiegelbildlichen Verlauf zum Absorptionspolarisationsspektruni.Dies ist zu erwarten, da die Elektronenoszillatoren identisch sind und die Schwingungsoszillatoren sich in der raumlichen A. Reichel, Dissert., T. H. Munchen 1959.

The rate of the reaction of piperidine with y-nitrofluorobenzene is strongly dependent on the polarity of the solvent. Furthermore, the reaction is catalysed by piperidine or tertiary bases. The solvent-dependence differs for substitution and base catalysis.Unter einer nucleophilen aromatischen Substitution versteht man eine Reaktion, bei der eine nucleophile Substanz (Lewisbase) iiber ihr freies Elektronenpaar mit einem Substrat reagiert. Die Gruppe X verlaBt dabei das Molekul unter Mitnahme des Elektronenpaares der C-X-Bindung (1) :Man kann die Vielfalt der Kombinationsmoglichkeiten in verschiedene Gruppen einteilen, je nachdem, ob neutrale oder geladene Molekule miteinander reagieren. Fur diese Gruppen sollte man eine unterschiedliche Abhangigkeit der Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit vom Losungsmittel erwarten.
