“…X-ray diffraction data were collected using a CAD-4 diffractometer (MoKa radiation, A = 0.70926 Ä) equipped with a graphite mono chromator. 1,3-diph en yl-l ,3,2 k3,4 -diazadiphosphetidine Trifluoroethanol (Fluka) (3.2 g, 32 mmol) and triethylamine (3.3 g, 33 mmol) were added dropwise at 25 °C in an atmosphere of dry N2 to a stirred solu tion of l a (R = Ph, X = Cl) [7,9] Crystals for the X-ray diffraction study were ob tained by crystallising the compound from light pe troleum ether (b.p. 60-80 °C) within one day.…”
