Ultrasound diagnosis of dirofilariasis: case reports

Abstract: Dirofilariasis is a transmissible zoonotic biohelminthiasis caused by nematodes that parasitize the lymphatic system and subcutaneous tissue. This paper presents cases of dirofilariasis lesions of the soft tissues of the face and eyes.Purpose: to demonstrate the possibility of ultrasonic diagnosis of dirofilariasis of soft tissues of the face.Materials and methods.
