“…In that regard, a language needs analysis research for pilots from the Air Demonstration Squadron from the Brazilian Air Force, or "Esquadrilha da Fumaça" (EDA 1 ) (Silva 2016) concluded that further studies were necessary to better understand what, exactly, needed to be assessed in an English language test for this specific group of pilots, who represent Brazil and its Air Force, not only in the air, with acrobatic air demonstrations, but also in other international events, as diplomatic representatives.
