The pandemic situation established in 2020 caused the state of Minas Gerais, through the State Department of Education (SEE), to enact the suspension of face-to-face classes in March 2020, which lasted until the second half of 2021, as educational institutions began to operate in a hybrid manner and, sequentially, in person. In this context, education professionals had to adapt to the common use of Information and Communication Technologies and emergency instruments developed by SEE-MG, namely: the Conexão Escola application, the Tutored Study Plans (PET's), and the TV channel "Se liga na educação". In view of this, at José Lourenço de Freitas State School, an attempt was made to supplement the teaching-learning process of students through extracurricular projects, such as the “Em Casa” Photo Contest. It is inferred that the aforementioned sought to reveal the everyday reality, taking into account an appropriate and known space to the students, that is, the domestic space. Therefore, the photographs and descriptions taken by the undergraduates were sent to the Instagram “PIBID-UFV Geografia” (@pibidgeoufv), in which the entries were evaluated and the winners announced. In this sense, it is believed that the rich content of the project has not been fully explored by those involved, so it is necessary to return to the central points of the “Em Casa” Contest and reveal how the photos produced by the José Lourenço de Freitas State School students could come to favor the appropriation of elementary concepts to the teaching of geography, above all, of physical-natural themes.

Resumo: Com este artigo, apresentam-se os resultados de uma proposta realizada no âmbito do processo de ensino-aprendizagem sobre a paisagem, procurando ampliar a indicação do papel do "sentimento da paisagem” como mecanismo de construção de leituras geográficas por estudantes do ensino médio. Neste quesito, a interpretação da paisagem como portadora de dimensões econômicas e políticas estruturantes é complementada com a inserção afetiva erguida através da poética, permitindo a ampliação das exposições dos significados da paisagem para os estudantes. Para isto, utilizou-se do desenvolvimento de aula expositiva, seguida da propositura fotográfica dos locais de identificação afetiva, realizando posteriormente descrições críticas das paisagem e, conjuntamente, poesias sobre os sentimentos gerados por elas. Obteve-se, então, a possibilidade de compreender a análise ofertada pelos discentes e suas raízes valorativas no contexto geográfico, assentindo a ampliação das fronteiras de entendimento entre a relação sociedade/natureza em diferentes escalas, além de ratificar a fotografia e poesia como caminho para o ensino de geografia.Palavras-chave: Categorias Geográficas. Abstract: This paper presents the results of a proposal made in the context of the teaching-learning pro-cess on the landscape, aiming to assess the role of "landscape feeling" as a mechanism for the construction of geographic readings by secondary school students. the interpretation of the landscape as a vehicle of economic and structural policy dimensions is complemented with the built affective insertion through the poetic, allowing the expansion of the exhibition of land-scape meanings for students. for this, we used the development of lecture, followed the pro-posal in which students photographed affective identification of sites and subsequently to prepare descriptions criticism of landscape and, together poems about the feelings generated by them. was obtained, then the possibility of understanding the analysis offered by students and their evaluative roots in geographic context, on the basis of the of the boundaries of un-derstanding between the society / nature relationship at different scales, in addition to ratify-ing photography and poetry as a way to teach geography.Keywords: Geographical Categories. Este artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar um relato de experiência pedagógica na perspectiva da educação ambiental no âmbito do ensino de Geografia. Essa experiência está inserida no contexto da pré-iniciação científica, desenvolvida no ano de 2022, em uma escola pública estadual na cidade de Adamantina/SP. Neste trabalho utilizamos metodologias ativas junto aos estudantes através de sequências didáticas que preveem um caráter dinâmico, problematizado e contextualizado no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, com abertura ao processo criativo e à pesquisa, com o objetivo de contemplar o tema contemporâneo transversal – Meio Ambiente e Educação Ambiental, em conformidade com as normativas presentes na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). No contexto deste trabalho o conceito de paisagem assume centralidade para subsidiar a leitura da realidade concreta do espaço vivido e para a formação de cidadãos críticos e proativos na sociedade. O uso da fotografia como recurso metodológico permitiu a abertura ao criativo dos estudantes, estimulando a interação dialógica, a criticidade e a formação conceitual, através de mecanismos perceptivos, cognitivos e culturais de percepções individuais ou do grupo de estudantes. Avaliamos que a ação pode inspirar outros docentes a realizarem atividades voltadas à restauração de ecossistemas e combate à degradação da natureza.
