Uncertainty of Preferences in the Assessment of Supply Chain Management Systems Using the PROMETHEE Method

Abstract: The use of Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems allows for the improvement of an organization’s operations. Companies use many Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that also include SCM functionalities. As a result, the selection of the right system to be used in the enterprise is a complex problem. The use of multi-criteria decision aid (MCDA) methods provides the possibility of system ordering in a ranking, based on an asymmetric preference relation, symmetric indifference and incomparability relation… Show more

“…The preference threshold for this function was each time twice the population standard deviation calculated on the basis of the values of all alternatives for a given criterion in the examined period. The PROMETHEE II method was used o aggregate preferences in each period, the steps of which are identical to the initial steps of the PROSA method, up to the moment of calculating global net flows φ net [51,54]. For each analyzed period, separate values of the φ net (a i ) assessment and country rankings were obtained, showing the degree of advancement of the energy transformation in a given year compared to other EU countries.…”
