Understanding Entrepreneurial Intention of Vocational High School Students in Indonesia

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze theentrepreneurial intentions (EI) of students by usingtheory of planed behavior (TPB) as the underlyingthinking framework. The role of entrepreneurialattitude (EA) and entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE)as mediators also analyzed. 302 students from fivevocational high schools in Indonesia were involvedas participants. Mediating role of EA and ESEstatistically analyzed by followed Hayes (2018.) EIwas statistically significant shaped byentrepreneurial personal motivation (EPM), EA, andESE. EA and ESE were statistically significant asmediators of EPM towards EI. This finding can beused as preliminary diagnosis of entrepreneurshipeducation program in vocational high school inIndonesia.
