Unicornuate Uterus With Functional Rudimentary Horn: Clinical Manifestations and Diagnostic Problems (Clinical Case)

Abstract: A unicornuate uterus ranges from 1 in 1000 to 1 in 5400 women and 74-90% of them will have rudimentary uterine horn. Patients with non-communicating uterine horns that contain functional endometrium are at an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, hematometra, hematosalpinx, endometriosis and poor pregnancy outcomes.
