“…In the Ag seeds electrode, Ag undergoes stripping at 0.23 V, whereas in the presence of Cu on the Ag surface at the Ag@Cu bimetallic NRDs electrode, a noticeable decrease in the overpotential was observed such as 0. 13 V [51]. This validates the presence of bimetallic Ag and Cu on the electrode surface.…”

“…Then the electrodes were washed with distilled water and dried at room temperature. Now the electrode was set to grow Ag@Cu bimetallic NRDs with a modified seedmediated growth method [51,52]. The synthesis of Ag seeds was reported elsewhere [51].…”

“…In this sense, the indicate that the recoveries of H 2 O 2 ranging from 98.5% to 108.0% have been obtained with the RSD of less than 7.4% (Table 1), and the milk sample without spiked H 2 O 2 did not show any detectable ECL signal (data not shown). Note that that compared with some previous reports where 1.8 g (NH4) 2 SO 4 was added into 10 mL milk sample with vigorous stirring for 30 min, and then 10-15 min centrifugation was carried out at 8000 rpm and the supernatant liquid was collected for analysis [46,47], the proposed method is simple and rapid, without the complicated sample pretreatment.…”

“…CV responses of bimetallic Ag@Cu/L-ERGO/GCE have been studied in N 2 saturated 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 indicating the presence of Cu at the bimetallic NRDs surface where the overpotential for the dissolution of Ag has decreased by simultaneous oxidation of Ag and Cu [32,33]. On the other hand, after the replacement of shell like second metal such as Cu at Ag NRDs by Pd surface, the corresponding Ag and Cu oxidation peaks were completely vanished and a characteristic hydrogen adsorption and oxidative desorption electrochemical behaviour has observed which confirmed the presence of Pd surface as shell metal at Ag NRDs.…”
