Uptake and Translocation of 2-<i>sec</i>-Butylphenyl <i>N</i>-Methylcarbamate (BPMC) in Cucumber and Komatsuna Plants

Abstract: Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) and komatsuna (Brassica raga L.) grown in soils applied with BPMC took up BPMC through roots and BPMC was transloaated to other plant portions. In cucumber, greater part of BPMC remained in root portion and the translocation rate to stems, leaves and fruits wasgenerally low.
