When metabolic parameters or cardiovascular risk factors were evaluated, we were not able to observe any significant correlation with FSFI total score, corroborating the concept that female sexual function, differently from men, is not a harbinger of cardiovascular diseases (Miner et al, 2012).…”

“…ICS -International Continence Society) apibrėžia dirgliąją šlapimo pūslę (DŠP) kaip staiga pasireiškiantį nenumaldomą norą šlapintis su arba be šlapimo nelaikymo (ŠN), neretai lydimą dažno šlapinimosi dienos ir nakties metu [6]. Nors tyrimais patvirtinta, jog ši patologija turi neigiamą įtaką moterų kasdieninei veiklai bei su sveikata susijusiai gyvenimo kokybei, daugelis moterų nepamini simptomų gydytojui, kadangi jaučiasi nejaukiai, bei mano, jog dirgliosios šlapimo pūslės požymiai yra normali jų amžiaus bei buvusių gimdymų pasekmė [7][8][9][10][11][12]. Anticholinerginiai vaistai laikomi pirmo pasirinkimo medikamentiniu gydymu kontroliuoti DŠP simptomams [13].…”
