Use of geoinformation systems in environmental monitoring

Abstract: The purpose of the study, the materials of which are outlined in this article, is to uncover current trends in the development of environmental monitoring and the tracking of anthropogenic environmental impacts. To achieve this goal, it is proposed to use geoinformation systems to perform environmental monitoring and control, using appropriate software. For this purpose ArcGis software was used which allows monitoring the state of the atmosphere, its pollution and other deviations from the norm. The research w… Show more

“…The main advantage of the models of academic disciplines is the ability to expand the boundaries of educational material by providing students with multi-and video information on the subject area being studied. Also, be aware of the links between disciplines through appropriate hyperlinks, as well as systematize the results of their training [17], [18], [19].…”

“…The main task of GIS is to support management decisions based on spatial analysis, mathematical and cartographic modeling, visualization, forecasting and evaluation. The use of GIS technology allows to create a detailed visualization and conduct a qualitative spatial analysis [15] of the CE placement with reference to the territory. The modeling, the results of which are presented in this paper, was done with the capabilities of the software product from Esri -ArcGIS.…”

“…Modern GISs are used in all branches of the economy and have significant applied value due to their properties. We have examples of the use of GIS in transport, in ecology [1], in real estate [2,3,4], in the underground infrastructure of the city [5], in the oil and gas spheres, in the field of health care. GIS are becoming more and more widely used and appear even in those industries where their use was not possible just a few years ago.…”
