Use of Modified Mustard Oil in Steel Corrosion Protection

Abstract: Inhibitors are one of the most effective means of controlling corrosion of metals [1][2][3]. For instance, salts of fatty acids have found application as inhibitors of steel corrosion in neutral media [3]. However, their low solubilities and the formation of insoluble soaps in hard water make them difficult to use.
