Abstract:In this work, nanocomposites were obtained by the dispersion of niobium oxyhydroxide into a poly(3‐hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) matrix by different preparative methods. These methods led to changes in the polymer morphology and in their photocatalytic properties. Thermal and structural properties of the nanocomposites were investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)–attenuated total reflection (ATR). Scanning electro… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
