User-defined semantics for the design of IoT systems enabling smart interactive experiences

Abstract: Automation in computing systems has always been considered a valuable solution to unburden the user. Internet of Things (IoT) technology best suits automation in different domains, such as home automation, retail, industry, and transportation, to name but a few. While these domains are strongly characterized by implicit user interaction, more recently, automation has been adopted also for the provision of interactive and immersive experiences that actively involve the users. IoT technology thus becomes the key… Show more

“…For weak mutual simulations, this article focuses on probabilistic models, and considers the huge impact of divergent behavior (that is, infinite internal behavior) The related theories and corresponding verification methods of low-probability divergence mutual simulation are studied from three perspectives [13]. Using the model and logic provided in this article, you can model the interactive IOT system and specify its properties in a logical manner [14]. Users and developers conduct transactions by accessing the cloud computing service platform created by operators, and there are factors that promote each other between users and developers [15].…”

“…However, for the teaching and learning approach, all the studies emphasized group discussion. Each group consisted of 5 to 7 members discussing existing systems or prototypes and understanding how the previous aspects apply to domains [16].…”

“…Georgievski et al [59] used tangible robotic assistance to view a brief text user-defined privacy policies, which can enhance users' privacy awareness in smart settings. The tangible approach has also been used as an effective method of notification and interaction in [14,88]. IoT Refine [154] visualised data flow to increase smart home users' awareness through an ambient display with varying text and colours.…”
