Using problem-based learning as part of general dental practice vocational training

Abstract: The use of problem-based learning as part of a vocational training scheme for vocational dental practitioners is described and evaluated. Problem-based learning is currently viewed as an effective means of delivering medical education and has been adopted as a principal style of education by many undergraduate medical and dental schools around the world.
