Abstract: As unidades de conservação (UCs) de proteção integral foram criadas com o principal objetivo de preservar o patrimônio ambiental natural que abrigam dentro de seus perímetros, em especial os elementos bióticos, havendo a possibilidade de uso público conforme condicionantes predeterminadas no plano de manejo e zoneamento estabelecido.
