Abstract:The latissimus dorsi (LD) flap has classically been described for posterior upper quadrant trunk defects. Perforator flaps have gained popularity among reconstructive surgeons as the predictable anatomy and muscle-sparing nature of parascapular flaps make this an attractive reconstructive option.
