“…The results, Z=-3,510, p=0,000 (positive physical effects) and Z=-4,222, p=0,000 (positive psychological effects) mean that there is statistically significant difference between the two subsamples (S1w,S2w) in terms of the length of positive physical and psychological effects of a vacation. In spite of the statistical difference between the two subsamples, the mean fade-out values support earlier literature on fade-out of positive vacation effects (Nawijn, Miquelle, Marchand, Veenhoven, & Vingerhoets, 2010, Kühnel & Sonnentag, 2011, De Bloom, Radstaak, & Geurts, 2013 and raise serious doubts about how much traditional tourism products in general and especially in Hungary can actually contribute to improving physical and psychological health of the population.
