“…Translated versions of this abbreviated version appear to perform better than broader versions of the instrument with non‐English‐speakers (Hong et al, 2011; Myagmarjav et al, 2019). Linguistic translations of the LSNS‐6 have been validated in Chinese (Chang et al, 2018), Japanese (Kurimoto et al, 2011), Korean (Hong et al, 2011), Mongolian (Myagmarjav et al, 2019), Persian (Tavakoli Ghouchani et al, 2020), Portuguese (Ribeiro et al, 2012) and Thai (Thanakwang et al, 2012). Most LSNS‐6 translations have been validated with nonclinical samples of older adults (Chang et al, 2018; Myagmarjav et al, 2019; Ribeiro et al, 2012; Tavakoli Ghouchani et al, 2020; Thanakwang et al, 2012), but some have also been used to assess older adults undergoing general health check‐ups (Kurimoto et al, 2011) and family caregivers of older adults (Hong et al, 2011).…”

In addition to social isolation, social frailty is associated with other concepts due to its multidimensional nature.…”
