Vegetable waxes as modifiers of surface properties of polymeric composites

Abstract: We investigated the possibility of a complex use of vegetable waxes as modifiers of surface properties of polymeric composites. The wax samples were extracted from vegetable raw materials and then introduced into the rubber formulations used for the manufacture of the sidewalls of passenger tires and pigmented paints as a dispersant additive.
