Venous thromboembolism during pregnancy and the post‐partum period: Incidence and risk factors in a large Victorian health service

Abstract: Background: There is a strong recommendation for post-partum thromboprophylaxis following emergency caesarean sections, particularly in overweight women, and following prolonged labour.
