This research sought to find out the implementation of service-learning in senior high school. This research adopted a qualitative approach using a case study method, and it was conducted on the students of Nur Hidayah Integrated Islamic Senior High School (SMAIT NH) of Sukoharjo, Central Java, Indonesia. The subjects of this research were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The subjects consisted of the vice principal, the student organization coordinator, the dormitory coordinator, teachers, students, and the community leaders. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and document study. Miles and Huberman's interactive model was deployed to analyze the data. This research found that service-learning programs in SMAIT NH is an integrated education that not only emphasizes the attainment of knowledge aspect but also develops the attitudes and skills needed by students. Students directly apply learning by doing in every service-learning activity in community. Service-learning was implemented through five types of social activities including the students’ real movement, fieldwork, gathering with orphans, the nation's hope generation festival, and community training. This research mainly contributes to the development of social skills by applying service-learning to the learning curriculum at school. Developing Indonesian English as a foreign language (EFL) students' structural knowledge presents a number of complexities especially in the bilingual context. This study aimed to determine how the structural knowledge patterns of Indonesian EFL students is, and it specifically explored various aspects that make structural knowledge representation difficult. The research also aimed to formulate an accommodative assessment model for the development of students' structural knowledge. Using a case study design, this study involved 120 English literature students (N=120) taking the Psycholinguistics class at one of the tertiary institutions in Malang, Indonesia. The research instruments included essay tests and questionnaires. The research findings showed that students in bilingual contexts have certain diversity and patterns in their structural knowledge. Second, students' structural knowledge could be influenced by a number of aspects such as topic mastery and the flow of thought. Furthermore, students' structural knowledge can be accommodated in an adequate evaluation model that measures structural knowledge and critical thinking skills. Further research in the area of content and language assessment will complete the study of the significance of structural knowledge in a bilingual context.

In science learning students should build their own knowledge by discovering concepts through observing and investigating natural phenomena. The limitations media make it difficult for teachers to teach material learning. In the earth material structure students need direct observation because the nature of the material tends to be abstract. Students need to concretize the abstract concept into a concrete concept. Therefore, the purpose of this research to determine attractiveness of emodule media science learning based on multiple intelligences of earth structure material and differences in understanding of concept between control and experimental class that use emodule. This research and development uses R&D with Borg and Gall adapted development model. The subjects of this research were 120 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sugio. Instruments used was a validation sheet, a questionnaire of elegability and product attractiveness for students, as well as a test sheet. The media development result have valid and suitable for use with average validity 88.30% from material expert, design, and science teacher. The research results obtained media attractiveness value 77.8% . The Z test obtained significance 0.00 so that it can be concluded that learning media is interesting for students. From t test on posttest value, obtained significance 0.00. This means that there are differences in the results of understanding concept of earth structure material between student at control and experimental class.
