Visioplastic analysis of experimental rolling of steel

Abstract: A visioplastic analysis was carried out in hot rolled samples of different types of steel to study the way strain distributed during deformation. The studies were conducted on wedge-shaped specimens that were cut along their mid-plane, inscribed with a grid, spot welded at both ends and hot rolled in a two-high experimental mill.
