Vitamin B-Complex Mediated Minimisation of Malathion and Rogor induced Mitoinhibition and Clastogeny.

Abstract

Prasad 1990) has been observed in various test-systems. However, no effort has been so far made to study similar antigeno toxic role of B-complex group of Vitamins (Hoda and Sinha 1991a). The present work is an endeavour in this direction where modificatory role, if any, of Vitamin B-complex has been studied against pesticide-induced mitoinhibition and clastogeny in a common tissue like onion root-tip cells. Materials and methods The role of Vitamin B-complex was checked, when administered concurrently, as well as before and after the pesticide treatment. Five representative dose (ranging from agriculture used concentration to maximum tolerable one) were used.
