Vitamin D Status in Secondary Care Patients

Abstract: Vitamin D deficiency is defined as a 25(OH) D below 20ng/ml (50 nmol/liter) 1,2. Patients who were previously treated or are currently being treated for vitamin D deficiency and patients with vitamin D toxicity (serum values above 100 nmol/l) were excluded.
