WALL-E, classroom discussion and media ecology’s stupid question

Abstract: This essay presents a four-minute clip from the 2008 Disney/Pixar film WALL-E as a useful tool for inspiring student-led discussion of media ecology and anxieties about the fifth/digital epoch of media communication.
