Wasserstoffverbindungen von Schwermetallen. VII. Eine Wasserstoffverbindung des Wolframs

Abstract: Aus W(C6H5)4(LiC6H5)2 · 3 (C2H5)2O und H2 entsteht unter Luft‐ und Feuchtigkeitsausschluß WH(LiC6H5)2. Darstellung und Eigenschaften der Vervindung werden beschrieben und Angaben über den Reaktionsablauf gemacht.

“…308 A poorly characterized Li 2 WPh 6 ‚3Et 2 O is described as a black, pyrophoric, diamagnetic powder. 309 On the other hand, the more stable LiW(C 6 F 5 ) 5 ‚2Et 2 O has a magnetic moment of 2.70 µ B at room temperature. On the basis of the variable-temperature magnetic study, a relatively low spin-orbit coupling constant of 100 cm -1 is calculated, from which a distorted octahedral [W(C 6 F 5 ) 5 (Et 2 O)] -geometry is proposed for the complex.…”

“…The porphyrin complex Mo(TPP)(Ph)(Cl) was investigated crystallographically but not magnetically . A poorly characterized Li 2 WPh 6 ·3Et 2 O is described as a black, pyrophoric, diamagnetic powder . On the other hand, the more stable LiW(C 6 F 5 ) 5 ·2Et 2 O has a magnetic moment of 2.70 μ B at room temperature.…”

“…Reformulation as (LiPh)4WPh2(ether)4 was suggested122 based on titration123 and flame photometry.124 It reacts with 2 mol of hydrogen reportedly to give WH(LiPh)4. 125,126 Anionic vanadium complexes have also been reported. For example,127…”
