Weak acid ion exchange membranes

Abstract: Weak acid ion exchange membranes were prepared by pressing methyl acrylate/ methyl methacrylate and methyl acrylate/butyl methacrylate copolymers into the film form. Before shaping, the copolymers were hydrolysed in an alkaline solution (heterogeneous system).
