Welding of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and its composite to increase the sealing of lining coatings

Abstract: This article proposes the use of magnetic induction for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) welding. The conducted mechanical and structural studies confirm the high efficiency of the method of welding ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and its composite using magnetic induction with a ferromagnet in the form of a steel mesh.
