Wick-action Method for Germination of Seeds1

Abstract: The method of seed germination utilizing saturated filter paper in a petri dish requires frequent care to avoid dessication, as water is absorbed by the seeds and also lost by evaporation around the edges of the dish. The following technique provides a continuous, uniform moisture supply for seed germination.
