This work deals with the electrochemical polymerization of pyrrole. The electrochemical polymerization process is evaluated in terms of polymer yield and conversion with respect to monomer and dopant concentrations, applied voltage, and polymerization temperature. An expression for predicting the system current as a function of the aforesaid process parameters has been developed. The system current and normalized system current have been found to be the determining factors for controlling the yield and conversion, respectively.
