World Heritage Cultural Landscapes

Abstract: Roads and particularly those adapted to the automobile, constitute an essential element in the shaping of landscapes. In Europe they were built within historic corridors and incorporate both heritage assets of the period of construction of the road as well as valuable pre-existent assets. “…Esta línea lleva a considerar que todos los paisajes del mundo habitado son patrimoniales, en tanto que todos son fuente potencial de identidad para sus habitantes (Ojeda, 2013).
