“…48-1023 (Zinc Aluminum Carbonate Hydroxide Hydrate) and provide information of the basal spacing d (003) and the inter-cationic distance a, respectively. [19] Structural parameters such as the interplanar distance (d), lattice parameters (a, c, and c'), interlayer thickness, and average crystallite size (D) are summarized in Table S1. No change or no significant shift of peaks was observed upon cobalt incorporation suggesting that the nature of the LDH structure was well maintained.…”

“…The inter lamellar spacing for MgAl-LDHs depends on the size of the intercalated anion (CO 3 − 2 ) and its reported value in literature is in good agreement to 0.761 nm which varies between 6.5 A° and 8.0 A° for pure LDH [26, [43][44][45]. For LDH-SDS basal spacing, Abd El-Fattah and Abd ElKader had registered 11.32 A° which is almost similar to our nding, above (12.95A°) [46].…”

“…Low-intensity, asymmetric peaks obtained at 2 θ angles above 30° were assigned to the (0 1 l) and (1 1 l) diffraction planes and a cell parameter of a = 3.04 Å was obtained, similar to that previously obtained for Mg–Al LDHs. 26 The intercalation of NSAIDs significantly decreased the 2 θ values of (0 0 l) peaks, resulting in the following interlayer distance values: 21.9 Å for LDH-IB, 22.7 Å for LDH-KP, and 23.7 Å for LDH-KL. These values were similar to those previously obtained for LDHs intercalated with ibuprofen 27–29 and ketoprofen.…”
