Despite all the contemporary discussion about the relativity of the points of view, the value of "objectivity" seems still quite present mainly in the narrative of the media about itself. In this article, we will try to demonstrate how this notion of "objectivity" can be reinterpreted, in the limit, as an ideological expression. For this, we will focus on the notion of "objectivity" problematized by the Brazilian philosopher Marilena Chaui. We will make a journey based on specific writings of the extensive work of the philosopher, writings that were revised and improved in different texts in the last years. Our path will present, at first, an overfly by the definition made by Chaui about the term "ideology", going to the theme of its relationship with the idea of "objectivity", especially in regard to the role of the "objectivity" in the construction of the "ideology". La adolescencia es una etapa vital en la que ocurren numerosos cambios tanto externos como internos, los cuales pueden comportar ciertos problemas de ajuste. En esta etapa tan dinámica, la motivación jugará un papel fundamental, sobre todo en ámbitos como el aprendizaje o el rendimiento académico. Tanto en la Comunidad Valenciana como en Cataluña, muchos adolescentes forman parte de una agrupación musical juvenil debido a la extensa red de bandas y corales existentes en ambos territorios. MÉTODO. El presente artículo consiste en un estudio exploratorio cuyo objetivo principal es conocer el grado de motivación académica que tienen los adolescentes músicos integrantes de una banda o una coral (grupo experimental) y si este es igual que el grado de motivación de un grupo control, formado por adolescentes no músicos. Para ello se ha aplicado el cuestionario MOT a una muestra conformada por 1315 adolescentes. RESULTADOS. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan que los adolescentes músicos tienen un alto nivel de motivación académica, significativamente más elevado que los adolescentes del grupo control cuyo nivel es moderado. DISCUSIÓN. Estos resultados van en la línea de otras investigaciones que confirman que la práctica musical influye de forma positiva en la formación integral de los jóvenes. //Palabras clave Motivación académica; Agrupaciones musicales; Adolescencia.

The focus of this study is patterns of use of digital media, which are the most popular platforms and what control that parents impose on the consumption of digital media. We analyzed children aged between 7 and 10 years old and pre-teenagers aged between 11 and 12 years old. These groups are those who influence the medium-term trends. The results show that digital media are present in the everyday life of children, who regularly consume their preferred contents. They can be powerful if they can recognize and use their power in this culture of convergence as users.Keywords: Consumption, new media, children, pre-teenagers, Catalonia.
