The aim of this research is to determine the trends related to the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners at the graduate level. A purposeful sampling method has been used to obtain the data in the research created by the document review design. The data obtained as a result of the screening the thesis centre in the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) database were evaluated through descriptive analysis using "Publication Classification Form". Through this form, the graduate research were examined in terms of year, method and design, data collection tools, number of data collection, sampling characteristics, and data analysis methods. As a result of this examination, the data were classified within the frame of the themes specified in the form and shown on tables and graphs, and the obtained results were interpreted and presented based on the percentage and frequency. As a result of the research, it has been found that researches in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners have increased significantly in recent years. In addition, it has been determined that the researches in this field are concentrated at the graduate level, mostly purposeful sampling method is used and mixed studies are limited in number. It can be said that interdisciplinary multivariate research is needed not only quantitatively or qualitatively in teaching Turkish as an ancient language.
