Yarkend Hanlığına Ait Dört Yarlık

Abstract: The word Yarlık has been used for centuries in the written texts of both Turks and Mongols in the sense of 'command, order, edict'. The orders of the first Mongolian khan are verbal. The idea of writing orders over time emerged through Uyghurs. The fact that the scribes were mostly Uyghur Turks paved the way for the Uyghur language to increase its influence especially in the Altin Orda state.
