Zur Darstellung und Kristallstruktur des SrZnSb2 / On the Preparation and Crystal Structure of SrZnSb2

Abstract: Abstract SrZnSb2 has been prepared and characterized analytically and structurally. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic system with a = 2305 ± 5 pm, b = 437 ± 1 pm, c = 446 ± 1 pm, Pnma-D2h16. Zn- and Sb-atoms form distorted fourfold pyramids, connected by common edges in the basis to two-dimensional sheets. These sheets are separated by double layers of Sr-atoms in which further Sb-atoms are located build… Show more

“…Compounds based on Sr 2 Mn 3 As 2 O 2 are bodycentered-tetragonal (I 4/mmm) with a = 4.14Å and c = 18.82Å for Sr 2 Mn 3 As 2 O 2 and with 2 f.u./unit cell. 498 As shown in Fig. 93, the crystal structure consists of Mn(1)O 2 layers that are isostructural with the CuO 2 layers in the layered cuprate high T c superconductors, that are interlaced with Mn(2)As layers that are isostructural with the FeAs layers in the iron arsenide high T c superconductors.…”

“…8 This compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, with unit cell axes a ¼ 23.05 Å , b ¼ 4.37 Å , and c ¼ 4.46 Å . 9 The structure is formed by layers of Sr, Sb, and Zn stacked along the a axis [ Fig. 1(a)] with adjacent layers of Sb and Zn atoms forming tetrahedra, see Fig.…”
