Abstract:Measurements are described, which show the variation of conductance versus temperature of evaporated layers of leadselenide in presence of low partial pressures of selenium. The interaction between the selenium vapor and the leadselenide film is revealed by the reversible dependence of conductance on temperature and partial pressure of selenium. The measured relationships are quantitatively understood on the following assumptions: The reactions of lead resp. selenium vacancies with selenium particles, adsorbed… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
