Zur Photocyclisierung von N‐Phenacylformamiden

Abstract: SummaryUV. irradiation of suitable N-phenacylformamides ( e g . 2 ) leads under transfer of the formyl H-atom to the corresponding p-lactams (e.g. 3). Scope and structural limitations of the novel reaction are discussed.

“…The computed equilibrium bond length and the vibrational frequency of the ground state (X 1 + ) of InI agree well with the available experimental data. With the inclusion of 4d 10 electrons of both In and I in the CI space and using semicore RECPs and larger basis, the computed r e of the ground state becomes closer to the experimental value. But for other spectroscopic constants of the ground and first excited state ( 3 ), the changes are not very significant.…”

“…Wehrli and Miescher [10] and Wehrli [11,12] observed three band systems of indium halides in the visible range because of A-X, B-X, and C-X transitions. For InI, the lowest two bound excited states are identified as A 3 0 + and B 3 1 , while the transition from the ground state (X 1 + ) to a third state, C 1 1 gives rise to a broad continuum in the ultraviolet region.…”

“…Langevin et al reported the discovery of 53 Ca in 1983 in '' 53 K, 54 K and 53 Ca: Three new neutron-rich isotopes'' [29]. Iridium was fragmented by 10 GeV protons from the CERN synchrotron to produce neutron-rich potassium isotopes, which then decayed into calcium isotopes.…”
