“…As it has been noted, the reaction of three-component condensation, which is performed by adding the solutions of the corresponding amine and secondary phosphine to a solution of glyoxylic acid monohydrate, is the simplest and the most convenient way to obtain phosphorylated derivatives of Nmono-substituted a-amino acids. [35][36][37] Following this approach, we performed the synthesis of novel N-(2-carboxylphenyl) (1f), N-(pyridin-4-yl) (1g) a-diphenylphosphinoglycines (Scheme 1) in good yields (80 and 90%, respectively). Multinuclear 1 H, 31 P{ 1 H}, and 13 C NMR data are in agreement with those of the expected products.…”
