Abstract:In this proceeding we report on a recent experiment performed at RIKEN with the EURICA β-decay setup. Following a relativistic fission reaction of a 238 U beam on a Be target, nuclei in the vicinity of 78 Ni have been transported and identified in the BigRIPS and ZeroDegree spectrometers. The EURICA cluster detectors are surrounded by the Si array WAS3ABI, in order to allow β − γ coincidence measurements.
