Abstract

The article examines the essence of the concept of management culture, highlights the main tasks of management culture, which are important in managing an organization. Management culture as a tool for conflict prevention in the organization and its influence on the formation of a favorable social and psychological climate in the team are considered.The structure of management culture was studied based on the fact that this culture itself is an integral characteristic of the manager's personality and his activities. The structure highlights such elements as: general culture of the manager and his individual qualities, psychological characteristics, professionalism of the manager (professional culture of the manager), behavior, attitude to people and nature of communication, as well as management style. It is noted that the personal culture of the manager, his general culture is an important characteristic of his personal development. The importance of the manager's emotional intelligence as the basis of his moral culture is considered. The researched professional culture of the manager is an integral characteristic of him as a specialist, which should include the following components: a high level of professional knowledge and skills; understanding of trends in the development of one's professional sphere; value perception of the profession; compliance with professional ethics; the desire to realize one's potential; constant professional self-improvement.It is noted that the practice of managerial activity is the main source of formation and development of management culture. The levels of formation of the manager's management culture are distinguished: high, medium and low. The high level of management culture of a modern manager is characterized. The phenomenon of the development of the management culture of the manager is studied through the prism of the main acmeological and moderative approaches. The importance of professional self-development, self-improvement, self-management of managers and the relevance of the «learning through life» trend are substantiated. Recommendations for intensification of self-development of the manager's management culture are highlighted.
