Abstract

The appeal to spiritual and moral values is rooted in the tasks of developing national statehood, building a civilized society, national and spiritual uplift. Interest in spiritual and moral values allows more objective use of the experience of the past with its lessons. Understanding the nation starts at reconstructing its spiritual and moral values. Acquiring spiritual and moral values prompts avoiding mistakes in identifying current problems to overcome the loss of spirituality caused by the consequences of a totalitarian society, transition to new market relations and entering the world and European space.Modern education must be proactive, flexible and open system, provide opportunities for spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social development of all citizens of Ukraine, its transformative role must form a society that is constantly learning.
