This study aims to analyze the use of number ball media in the potential level of understanding the concept of numbers 1-10 in early childhood. The method used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection techniques through observation, indeph interview. This research was conducted at the Hidayatul Muttaqin PAUD institution, Talkandang, Kotaanyar, Probolinggo, to get a direct picture of the researchers conducting observations and interviewing the principal and teachers of PAUD Hidayatul Muttaqin. The research results show that; First, PAUD Hidayatul Muttaqin has applied the number ball game media in the introduction of the concept of numbers. Second, the implementation is carried out in several ways, namely; preparation, presentation and evaluation. Implications obtained from the use of number ball media; children can distinguish, pronounce, show, arrange number symbols and group number symbols through the use of number ball games by themselves without the help of friends.Keywords:Number Ball Game Media; Number Concept; Early Childhood AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemakaian media bola angka dalam tingkatan potensi memahami konsep bilangan 1- 10 pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis study kasus. Tehnik pengumpulan data melalui cara observasi, indeph interview. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada lembaga PAUD Hidayatul Muttaqin, Talkandang, Kotaanyar, Probolinggo, untuk mendapatkan gambaran langsung peneliti mengadakan observasi dan menginterview kepala sekolah dan guru PAUD Hidayatul Muttaqin. Hasil riset menampilkan bahwa; pertama, PAUD Hidayatul Muttaqin telah menerapkan media permainan bola angka dalam pengenalan konsep bilangan. Kedua, penerapan dilakukan dengan beberapa cara yaitu; preparation, presentation dan evaluasi. Implikasi yang didapat dari penggunaan media bola angka; anak bisa membedakan, melafalkan, menunjukkan, menyusunkan lambang bilangan dan mengelompokkan lambang bilangan melalui penggunaan permainan bola angka dengan sendirinya tanpa bantuan temannya.Kata kunci: Media Permainan Bola Angka, Konsep Bilangan, Anak Usia Dini
In an educational environment, mastery of speaking skills must be prioritized to achieve the expected targets according to applicable standards. At first glance, language mastery, especially students' speaking skills at the elementary school level, are not fully on target. This study aims to describe the use of the storytelling method as an alternative to improving Indonesian speaking skills, to foster appreciation for Indonesian literary works, and to find out the extent of the effect of the storytelling method in improving the speaking skills of class II MI Misbahul Fata students. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Mc spiral model design. Taggart which has four cycle components. Each research cycle includes stages; planning, observation and reflection. The subject of this study was students of class II MI Misbahul Fata, who in fact were in the Islamic boarding school environment, Klenang Kidul Village, Banyuanyar District, totaling 12 students. The problem that is rife with students is that they usually mix their mother tongue with the national language. There are several steps to implementing this storytelling method; The first is the opening stage, the second is the storytelling stage, the third is the closing and evaluation stage. In the early stages, the acquisition of student scores was 64.6% in the initial cycle from the previous data of approximately 59.5%, in the second cycle the average was 71.25%. In cycle I the completeness of the number of participants was around 58.3%, from cycle I it increased to 83.3% in cycle II. With these results, it can be concluded that the storytelling method can support students' speaking skills.
Kecerdasan interpersonal memiliki peran penting bagi anak usia dini dalam rangka tumbuhkembangnya. Oleh karena itu, guru memiliki peran yang sangat vital untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya guru PAUD dalam membangun kecerdasan intrapersonal anak yang penting bagi tumbuh kembang kemampuan bersosialisasi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisa upaya guru PAUD dalam mengasah kecerdasan intrapersonal anak usia dini. Adapun upaya guru PAUD antara lain melibatkan anak dalam memilih judul buku; memberi kesempatan kepada anak untuk melanjutkan cerita yang sudah dilakukan oleh gurunya sebelumnya; serta melibatkan orang tua. Dengan mengembangkan dan mengenali kecerdasan intrapersonalnya seorang anak dapat mengenali dirinya sendiri dan mengelola emosinya dengan baik.
