Studying the mechanisms of language and speech abilities showed that the most effective method of learning a foreign language is a method of total immersion as students enter the natural language environment and are in it constantly. But the learning process in the classroom, no matter how organized, creative and communicative it is, cannot replace the real experience of teaching. As the most important factors for the effective foreign language learning are the language environment and the motivation, thus the development of new motivational language learning environments, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and 3D environment, are the basic elements of the learning process. The development of VR and AR technology allows expanding the boundaries of science and introducing innovations in all spheres of human activity. In the educational establishments of the USA and China VR and AR environments are already widely used, but in Russia VR is used only in a few schools and universities and AR has not been used at all. The group of teachers of Samara State Technical University designed the new generation educational course of English based on the VR and AR technology that creates a real situational interaction in which the student can receive certain information, to carry out scientific and educational elements, project activities. In such educational space VR/AR helps students to understand the phenomena and situations that cannot be understood and explained in the traditional techniques, become part of the real world through the simulation. In general, VR/AR is an ideal learning environment, and the opportunities of its technologies for teaching have an extremely high potential for application.
This research aims to design and build a website-based information system for storing historical data on the use of measuring instruments in the Telkom Test House PT Telkom Indonesia transmission laboratory using the waterfall model. This system will make it easier for users to access and store data on the use of measuring instruments. The data collection method was carried out through observation and interviews with transmission laboratory personnel at the Telkom Test House. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out to design and build the right system according to user needs. This information system was built using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database and designed to be easy to use and access through the website. The result of this research is a website-based information system that can be used to store historical data on the use of measuring instruments in the Telkom Test House transmission laboratory with features that make it easy for users such as login, account registration, and searching and processing data on the use of measuring instruments. It is hoped that this information system can help the Telkom Test House transmission laboratory in facilitating the process of managing historical data on the use of measuring instruments.
Modern approach to digital literacy development in education The article is dedicated to the necessity of formation and development of digital literacies for the professional, educational and personal purposes. The article also provides a detailed classification of digital literacies and competences. Rapid penetration of information technologies in almost all spheres of our life, including education, and the fact that most ordinary users received unlimited access to the Internet, has led to a rapid rise of the information volume or information explosion and massive changes in the way of communication between people in all spheres and also to forming the information society as one of the leading contemporary social processes. Such changes in socioeconomic conditions modified the socio-psychological and psycho-pedagogical portrait of the students, the nature of their participation in educational, professional and social life, as well as the methods of teaching the humanities, computer and natural sciences. The basis of modern educational paradigm are such theoretical concepts as digital literacies, distance learning technologies, information and communication technologies, internet resources, multimedia electronic textbooks, online courses, social networks, Internet resources, individualization and differentiation of learning activities, Personal Learning Network, etc. The importance of improving the educational process through the methodical training of faculty members and tutors, the application of use new technologies in teaching, the formation and development of information and communication competences, digital literacies and knowledge is emphasized.
