The authors of the article carried out the analysis of the failure causes of diesel engine types 4Ч 110/125 and 4ЧН 110/125. As a result of this analysis it was found that the highest percentage of failures occurred in the high-pressure fuel pump and nozzle. The procedure of the electric cleaning process of diesel fuel in an electric field is also considered in the article. A mathematical model of the electric cleaning process of diesel fuel in an electric field has been obtained and the boundaries of the initial parameters of the electric field have been determined.
The paper is devoted to the assessment of the possibility to use a new design of a stretch die made of plastics used for fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3 D printing. Studies were conducted to assess the stress-strain state of a stretch die, from the normal pressure of a deforming sheet blank in a NASTRAN solver, using the finite element method. The convergence assessment of the simulation results was carried out for different quantities and corresponding sizes of finite elements. The optimal thicknesses of the hollow structure of the stretch die were determined by step-by-step calculations of its stress-strain state for acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG). On the basis of the conducted studies, a general algorithm was developed for the structural design of stretch dies made of plastics used for fused deposition modeling (FDM) printing.
The paper presents a comprehensive study of the surfaces of plastic samples (90% polysulfone (PSU) + 10% polycarbonate (PC)) modified with the help of an ultrasonic resonator to reduce friction in contact between the material of aluminum skins and a covering puncheon. Comparative characteristics of surfaces have been obtained, such as: microhardness, coefficient of friction and wear resistance in contact with wrought aluminum alloy D16T.
The influence of force fields on the quality of diese l fuel purification during the operation of mobile power facilities is shown, mathematical studies are performed on the models obtained, and graphs of dependences of the parameters of the fuel purification process are built.
The article analyzes the most successful results of riveting and Assembly work, the use of anti-friction coating on the beds of the Assembly device, and reflects the advantages and technical capabilities of production at the current stage of development. The problem statement is formulated as follows: it is necessary to find the optimal parameters of the technological process in the production of aircraft components used in the design of short-and medium-haul aircraft. The optimal technological process in terms of time resources, material costs, and design weight at different levels of serial production were considered as optimization criteria in this study. Numerical modeling and optimization of workflow parameters were performed in the NASTRAN СAE system (NX). For each of the combinations of optimized process variables, parameters were determined based on numerical modeling. Analysis of the optimization results showed that the growth of parameters of the working process leads to an expansion of the area of locally optimal parameters. With optimal parameters of the working process, you can expect to optimize the cost of work up to 30 percent.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
