The inter-diffusion of Li isotopes in separated 'Li and +'Li metals has been measured in the temperature range 35 to 178 "C. The results can be expressed as -12.634 + 0.139 and _ _ _ 7 0 , = (0.120 +o'022) -0.018 exp RT -12.848 k 0.222 + 0*03') exp ___ -0.030 RT where 7D6 denotes the diffusion of 6Li tracer in pure 7Li metal, and vice versa. The 7D6values exceed 6D7 by about 23% a t the melting point and by about 37% a t 0.7 T , (OK). A. LODDING, J. N. MUNDY, and A. OTT isotopreinen Li-Metallen hergeleitet : 7 0 , = (0,14 0,07) exp (Diffusionskoeffizienten in cm2/s, Energien in kcal/mol). -12,60 + 0.25 -12"' ' 0"8 RT und 6D6 = (0,14 + 0,08) exp --~-RT
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
