Technically, some errors often occur such as the use of inappropriate and non-calibrated scale, errors in placing the scale, and in reading the result of weighing. To improve knowledge, skills, and compliance of cadres, it is necessary to conduct training on growth monitoring standard of underfi ves in order that cadres can improve the capacity in evaluating growth and improve their effectiveness and effi ciency in working at the integrated post (posyandu). Objective: To identify the effect of training to the improvement of knowledge, skills, and compliance of cadres in implementing growth monitoring standard of underfi ves at Bitung Municipality, North Sulawesi. Method: The study was a quasi experiment which used non-equivalent control group design. It was carried out at Bitung Barat and Aer Tembaga Health Center of Bitung Municipality, North Sulawesi to the two groups of cadres. The experiment group consisted of 44 cadres who got training twice, each was carried out a month before the evaluation on knowledge, skills, and compliance. The control group consisted of 46 cadres that got modul of growth monitoring standard of underfi ves. Research instruments used were questionnaire/checklist of knowledge, skills, and compliance. The result was analyzed using Chi-Square. Result: Training improved knowledge and skills of cadres in implementing growth standard of underfi ves. This was indicated from average knowledge of the experiment group during pre test as much as 0.328+0.086, post-test 1 as much as 0.335+0.554, post-test 2 as much as 0.328+0.106. Average skills of experiment group during pre-test were 0.446+0.067, post-test 1 was 0.549+0.544, post-test 2 was 0.873±0.106. Average compliance of the experiment group during pre-test was 0.457+1.08, post-test 1 was 0.548+0.321, post-test 2 was 0.542±0.365. This was indicated from average knowledge of the control group during pre-test as much as 0.122+0.155, post-test 1 as much as 0.154+0.856, post-test 2 as much as 0.195+0.235. Average skills of control group during pre-test was 0.366+0.103, post-test 1 was 0.431+0.856, post-test 2 was 0.426+0.235. Average compliance of the control group during pre-test was 0.352+0.363, post-test 1 was 0.362+0.363, post-test 2 was 0.365±0.368. The result of statistical analysis in average difference was p=0.000 for knowledge, p=0.000 for skills and p=0.004 for compliance in post-test 2, showing that the improvement was signifi cant (p<0.05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah terhadap pengendalian kadar glukosa darah pasien diabetes melitus rawat jalan di Puskesmas Ngampilan Yogyakarta. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan Quasi-eksperimental prospektif. Pengaruh pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah terhadap pengendalian kadar glukosa darah diukur menggunakan glukometer. Analisis hasil dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil kadar glukosa darah puasa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Sebanyak 76 subjek penelitian dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini, kelompok perlakuan sejumlah 38 subjek diberikan pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah berupa edukasi dan 38 subjek berupa kelompok kontrol. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai 0,005 (p<0,05) pada pengendalian glukosa darah setelah diberikan pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberikan pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah, menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pengendalian kadar glukosa darah puasa.
Obat tradisional sebagai pengobatan yang turun temurun masih dilestarikan oleh penduduk desa maupun kota. Tanaman yang dihasilkan beraneka ragam manfaatnya tidak hanya dimanfaatkan untuk pengobatan, masyarakat memanfaatkan untuk menunjang pembangunan kesehatan di setiap daerahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan jenis famili zingibericeae, penyakit yang ditangani dan melihat hubungan penggunaan obat tradisional famili zingibericeae dengan karakteristik sosiodemografi pada masyarakat di Kabupaten Lebak. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif menggunakan survei kuesioner, pada Februari-Maret 2022. Sampel penelitian masyarakat di Kabupaten Lebak diwakili 4 Kecamatan sebesar 100 responden yang pernah menggunakan Obat Tradisional Famili Zingibericeae, pengambilan data dengan metode purposive sample sesuai kriteria inklusi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa yang menggunakan obat tradisional famili zingibericeae adalah perempuan 62%, usia 46-65 tahun 54%, Pekerjaan Ibu rumah tangga 35% dan Pendidikan terakhir SD sebesar 44%, Jenis famili zingibericeae yang digunakan masyarakat ialah Jahe 36% dan kunyit 24% dengan keluhan penambah nafsu makan 30% dan batuk 24%. Terdapat hubungan antara cara penggunaan dengan pekerjaan nilai signifikansi 0,002 dan selain itu tidak ada hubungan antara faktor penggunaan dengan karakteristik Jenis kelamin, usia, pekerjaan dan pendidikan karena hasil signifikansi didapat >0,05 Kesimpulan yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil penelitian ialah masyarakat menggunakan obat tradisional famili zingibericeae untuk mengobati berbagai jenis keluhan atau penyakit ringan hingga berat. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and is one of the biggest causes of cancer deaths every year. Measurement of the quality of life in breast cancer patients could improve treatment and become a prognosic factor along with medical parameters for the patients. This study aims to measure the life quality of breast cancer patients and observe how it affects the life quality based on patient characteristics. The study was conducted on 93 breast cancer patients. Data were collected form patients in several breast cancer comunities in Denpasar which were carried outh within 3 months (January – March 2019). This study used a cross sectional design using a snowball sampling technique involving breast cancer patients in several cancer communities in Denpasar. The patient's life quality data was obtained using the EuroQol-5 Dimension-5 Level (EQ-5D-5L) generic instrument and conversion to health utility (utility) used the Indonesian value set. The entire data was analyzed using the independent t-test and multivariate regression. The results showed that pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression were the most dominant problem in breast cancer patients (82,7%). The utility value of breast cancer patients was 0.821±0.123 and the VAS value was 74.41±11.67. There was a significant difference in utility value based on patient characteristics of occupation (p=0.035), symptoms (p=0,003), and cancer stadium (p=0.015). Affected 20.5% of the quality of life of breast cancer patients in Denpasar city.
