This study investigates the impact of Ease of Doing Business on Inward FDI over the period from 2011 to 2015 across the globe. This study measures ease of doing business using starting a business, getting credit, registering property, paying taxes and enforcing contracts. The research used a sample of 177 countries from 190 countries listed in World Bank. Least square regression model via E-views software used to examine causal relationship. The study found that ease of doing business indicators ‘Enforcing Contracts’ was found to have a positive significant impact on Inward FDI. Nevertheless, ‘Getting Credit’ and ‘Registering Property’ were found to have a negative significant impact on Inward FDI. However, ‘Starting a Business’ and ‘Paying Taxes’ have no significant impact on Inward FDI in the studied timeframe of this research. The findings of the study suggested the ease of doing business enables inward FDI through better contract enforcements, getting credit and registering property. The findings of the research will assist international managers and companies to know the importance of ease of doing business when investing in foreign countries through FDI.

The objective of the article is to examine the factors influencing the cultivation of entrepreneurship culture among private higher education institutions in Malaysia. Research Design & Methods:A sample of 300 students from private higher education institutions in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, was selected using a convenient sampling technique. The data were analysed using structural equation modeling via AMOS, 22.0. Findings: The result of the study indicates that empowerment is the only factor that has a positive and significant effect on cultivating entrepreneurial culture. We found that all other factors have no significant effect on cultivating entrepreneurial culture in the studied context. Implications & Recommendations: This study will enable education institutions to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among their students by focusing on empowering the students to carry out their tasks. This study recommends empowering students in their learning to promote entrepreneurial culture through the curriculum, assessment designs, and industrial engagement. Contribution & Value Added: This study contributes to the existing literature on promoting entrepreneurial culture among students by establishing the key determinants of entrepreneurial culture through risk-taking behaviour, innovation, creativity, and empowerment. One of the unique aspects of this research is that these four factors are studied together and tested based on what academic institutions in Malaysia do to cultivate entrepreneurial culture among the students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of world gold and oil prices on the 2016-2019 period composite stock price index (IHSG). This research is a quantitative study with panel funds regression estimation (time series). This study uses secondary data types in the form of gold, world oil and IHSG prices. This data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis results it can be explained that the partial test / t-test statistic shows that the gold price variable has no influence on the 2016-2019 IHSG period. While world oil has an influence on the 2016-2019 IHSG. The F Test results can be explained that simultaneously the world gold and world oil price variables have an influence on the 2016-2019 IHSG period. From the results of the test of the coefficient of determination can be found that the variable world price of gold and oil can affect the CSPI by 75%.
This study examines the influence of green supply chain management on sustainable performance. The natural resource-based theory was tested on manufacturing firms in Karachi, Pakistan. A quantitative approach was adopted for this study, and a multi-item measurement scale was adapted from previous studies. A structured questionnaire was developed to collect primary data—the total number of 224 responses collected from textile manufacturing firms. Structural equation modeling was applied for hypothesis testing. The findings supported three hypotheses with positive and significant results, whereas two were rejected. This research study can be helpful for supply chain managers and decision-makers. It gives them guidance for enhancing sustainability performance. It provides a framework for manufacturing firms to enhance environmental sustainability to reduce global warming and nature destruction.
